Terms of Service
Last updated: July 3, 2026
These terms cover how you use My Everyday Driver's website, free tools, and advisory services. Using the site means you agree to them.
What we provide
MED offers free educational content and tools, and paid one-on-one advisory sessions. Our role is to give you honest, independent information so you can make your own decisions about your vehicle.
Advisory is guidance, not a hands-on inspection
Advisory sessions are based on the information you provide and on professional experience. They are informational guidance, not a physical inspection, diagnosis, or repair service, and they are not a substitute for a hands-on evaluation by a licensed mechanic. You are responsible for your own repair, purchase, and maintenance decisions. MED is not liable for outcomes that result from those decisions.
Free tools are provided "as is"
The Fix-or-Replace calculator and other free tools give directional guidance using general frameworks. They can't account for every variable in your specific vehicle. Treat their output as a starting point, not a final verdict.
Our promise on advisory
If an advisory session doesn't answer your question, we'll redo it at no charge. If the redo still doesn't work, you get a full refund. We'd rather lose the fee than have you feel you didn't get value.
The trust wall
MED earns no commission on repair work and takes no per-customer payment from any shop. Any shop-network dues are walled off from your advisory — our recommendation to you is never tied to what you spend at a counter.
Content ownership
The content, tools, and guides on this site are the property of My Everyday Driver. You're welcome to use them for your own vehicle decisions; please don't republish or resell them without permission.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.
