Privacy Policy

My Everyday Driver ("MED," "we," "us") is built on trust. That extends to your data. This policy explains, in plain English, what we collect, why, and what we never do.
What we collect
- Your email address — only when you give it to us: signing up for the newsletter or a free guide, booking an advisory session, or contacting us.
- Advisory details — the vehicle and situation information you share when you book a session, used solely to answer your question.
- Anonymous usage stats — we use Plausible Analytics, which is privacy-first: no cookies, no cross-site tracking, and no personal data. We see aggregate page visits, not individuals.
What we never do
- We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Ever.
- We never earn a commission on repair work, so we have no incentive to share your data with shops or dealers.
- The Fix-or-Replace tool runs entirely in your browser — the vehicle numbers you enter are not stored or sent to us unless you choose to email yourself the result.
Who processes data on our behalf
We use a small set of trusted providers to run the business. Each handles only what it needs to:
- Beehiiv — email newsletter delivery and subscriber management.
- Netlify — website hosting and form submissions.
- Plausible — cookieless, anonymous analytics.
- Calendly & Stripe — advisory booking and payment. We never see or store your full card details.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe anytime from any email — one click, no questions.
- Access or delete your data: email hello@myeverydaydriver.com and we will honor the request promptly.
Questions about your privacy? Email hello@myeverydaydriver.com — a real person (usually Chris) reads it.
